tuesday tip: paint

When clients ask me for advice on painting, my first response is: hire a painter.

If they say they can’t afford a painter, I suggest hiring a painter.

If they tell me their husband likes to paint, I concede and recommend they hire a painter.

If all else fails, this tip is brilliant. Almost as brilliant as hiring a painter but…

Before painting, wrap doorknobs in tin foil. The foil molds to the door handle to protect it from paint. So smart!
